What is the Moonbeam BoogiE?

The Moonbeam Boogie will be a feature film that spans A MILLENNIA; from 1088 to 1988. It begins in England in the Middle Ages and ends in chicago right before our generation was born. The Collection is told in English, French, German, Chinese, and Spanish.

It is an anthology of short films made by the same director and crew of film students over the course of their college years in the city of Chicago, IL. Each film has been designed and structured to stand alone as well as contribute to the anthology that is The Moonbeam Boogie.

who is making it?

We are a team of Chicago based filmmakers working to bring this dream to fruition. Over the past couple of years we have been growing our team and it has expanded far outside of the city. Working in collaboration with surrounding Towns, reenactment groups, and local businesses; The Moonbeam Boogie is truley a product of teamwork. 

FILMING has been completed with the wrap of Folksgarten (1525). With each piece or "year" of the film completed, we grow more and more experienced and ambitious. Completing this film will involve the work and collaboration of Many people from across the world.
